Why would anyone buy it on steam for $60? I paid $1 for this month subscription (3 month trial). Look, Halo Infinite came out on Steam for $60. My former comment about the games I have played on xbox game pass instead is steam is proof of what is about to happen. other gaming stores like epic are awful but like I said, the wave they are riding is coming to an end and the xbox game pass is now the next best thing. Steam is so successful because it was first and done very well. That being said, if game pass is such a great system then why pray tell is it not part of steam and furthermore why is steam so successful without it? Rumors likely, but at best it is just wishful thinking. I think Steam would work very well with a game pass system. If you don't get on board with innovation, you fade away. As I said before with kmart, look at the history of retailers and all the ones that have gone out of business just in the last decade. If Sony and Valve do not make their own or something better.they will fade away very quickly. Microsoft has dealt a serious blow to the gaming world with game pass. That said, in the next 10 months, I will download and play $100s of more games for only $15 a month.games (and this is the most important thing) that I WILL NOT buy on Steam. It'll take me a year to get to the cost of these games if I bought them on steam. Once my free trial ends it'll be like $15 a month. If you add up the cost on steam this is nearly $200 or so. Children of Morta, Code Vein, Dragon Age 3, Fae Tactics Halo Infinite, It takes Two, The Ascent and Yakuza: Like a Dragon.These are the games I downloaded and played for $2 over the last two months on xbox game pass For the sake of Steam? If they don't they might not exist in the next decade honestly.
